Hello! Sorry this is coming to you all a day late. I was out of the classroom yesterday and forgot to update it! Today I am teaching remotely, and boy is it different! It is amazing how we all adapt. I am hoping to be back in the classroom tomorrow.

My ESU intern is no longer with us. Her last day was on Thursday and I updated the kids today about this. She was not sure teaching was the direction she was wanting to go, and withdrew from student teaching. Consequently, there are some things she assigned for her ESU project that she created and did not grade. I have visited with Mr. Clark about this, as I am not able to grade these.  I will be removing those from our Social Studies Google classroom today. None of these had been put into Infinite Campus , and it will not affect their grade. I have other Social Studies grades for them. I just wanted to be up front and honest about this, and let you know the status of why some of those will be removed. These were in class activities she did with them while she was here.

Today we really started to dig into our Veterans Day essays! I encouraged the kids to have conversations with you about how Veterans have influenced their life. Maybe you could help give them a few personal examples to get the creative juices flowing! :)

Parent/teacher conferences are right around the corner. I am so excited to visit with all of you on the gains your kiddos are making. This is such an incredibly fun class to teach, and I am enjoying them all so much! Conference times should be going out soon.
