Hello! We are on the downhill slide and I think the kids can taste summer!

We will be taking our FINAL test tomorrow which will be their Reading MAPS test, then we will be done! This update will be pretty short as there is not a lot to share.

Tonight is their music concert. When they arrive they need to go straight into the new gym and sit with their class over by the press box. As a reminder Mr. Stice wants all students to wear their Eagle Pride shirts and pants. No shorts or skirts please! He would like band kids to arrive by 6:45 and be seated and everyone else there by 6:50. I will be sitting with the kids as well.

We are hastily trying to  finish our novel Woodsong this week. We should have it done by Friday, and the kids are really enjoying the book. It was a fun way to finish off the year with them. I only wished we had more time to dive a little deeper and maybe do a project with it, but testing really got in our way and cut us short!

 

Next week we have a lot of school wide activities happening. The kids may have told you, but I thought it would be fun to have a 5th/6th talent show for the little kids next Wednesday. We will do this from 9:00-10:30. The kids do NOT have to sign up to participate, but can if they want. So far we have a pretty good little list of people who want to participate! I will check with Mr. Clark to see if parents can come watch if their child is performing!
